This Privacy Policy explains how Ravi Dasani (“Ravi,” “I,” “me,” or “my”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit ravidasani.com (the “Site”), submit a form, request information, or otherwise communicate with me.
Ravi Dasani is a California real estate salesperson (DRE #02218139) affiliated with Compass. Ravi is an independent contractor, and this Site is operated independently from Compass-owned websites. Compass maintains a separate Privacy Policy for information collected through Compass-owned or Compass-controlled services.
1. Personal information I collect
I may collect the following categories of information:
- Contact information: name, email address, telephone number, and other contact details you provide.
- Real estate and inquiry information: whether you are considering buying or selling, locations or properties of interest, timing, goals, preferences, estimated price range, and questions or concerns you share.
- Communications: messages, form submissions, consultation requests, email correspondence, call or text details, and any documents or files you choose to provide.
- Internet and device information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, approximate location, dates and times of visits, interactions with the Site, and cookie or similar identifiers.
- Information from third parties: information provided by Compass, real estate platforms, referral sources, service providers, or other parties when permitted by law and relevant to your request.
Please do not submit Social Security numbers, bank or payment credentials, government identification numbers, medical information, or other highly sensitive information through the Site’s general contact forms.
2. How information is collected
- Directly from you when you complete a form, schedule a consultation, subscribe to updates, call, email, text, or otherwise communicate with me.
- Automatically through cookies, analytics tags, server logs, and similar technologies when you use the Site.
- From service providers and business partners when necessary to respond to your request or provide real estate-related services.
3. How I use personal information
I may use personal information to:
- Respond to questions and consultation requests.
- Provide real estate information, services, recommendations, and market updates you request.
- Understand your buying or selling goals and communicate about relevant opportunities.
- Operate, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site.
- Measure Site usage, content performance, and marketing effectiveness.
- Prevent fraud, spam, misuse, security incidents, and other harmful activity.
- Comply with legal, regulatory, professional, brokerage, and recordkeeping obligations.
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
- Carry out another purpose disclosed when information is collected or with your consent.
4. Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, security, analytics, remembering preferences, measuring form and page interactions, and understanding the effectiveness of content or marketing. Technologies used on the Site may include Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, WordPress, Elementor, PixelYourSite, and tools supplied by hosting, form, or integration providers.
Google Analytics may collect session statistics, approximate location, browser and device information, and a client identifier stored in a first-party cookie. You can manage cookies through your browser settings and may use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Disabling cookies may affect some Site features.
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is not a uniform industry standard for responding to that signal, the Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. Where required by applicable law, recognized opt-out preference signals will be handled as required.
5. When information may be disclosed
I may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients when reasonably necessary:
- Compass and real estate participants: Compass, affiliated brokerage personnel, transaction participants, inspectors, lenders, escrow or title providers, attorneys, contractors, or other professionals when you request or authorize services or when reasonably necessary for a potential or actual real estate transaction.
- Technology and service providers: website hosting, WordPress and Elementor services, form-processing providers such as Fluent Forms, analytics and tag-management providers such as Google, email or communications providers, security providers, data storage providers, and other vendors that support the Site and my business.
- Professional advisers: attorneys, accountants, insurers, compliance professionals, and other advisers.
- Government authorities or other parties: when required by law, subpoena, court order, regulatory request, professional obligation, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud.
- Business transfers: in connection with a reorganization, transfer, or sale of all or part of a business, subject to applicable law.
I do not sell personal information for money. Certain analytics or advertising-related disclosures may be treated as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some state privacy laws. You may contact me using the information below to ask about available choices or request that applicable sharing be limited.
6. Communications choices
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting me. If you receive text messages, you may reply STOP to opt out. Transactional, service, or legally required communications may still be sent when appropriate.
7. Data retention
I retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including responding to inquiries, maintaining business and transaction records, meeting brokerage and legal obligations, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and maintaining security. Retention periods vary depending on the nature of the information and applicable requirements. Information may be deleted, anonymized, or aggregated when no longer needed.

I use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no website, transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please use care when deciding what information to send online.
9. Your privacy choices and rights
Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information; obtain a copy of certain information; or opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling. You may also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising an applicable privacy right.

Please describe your request and the email address or telephone number associated with your interactions. I may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. Authorized agents may be asked to provide proof of authorization. Some information may be exempt from a request or retained when permitted or required by law.
10. Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for adults seeking real estate information and is not directed to children under 16. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 through the Site. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact me so the information can be reviewed and, where appropriate, deleted.
11. External websites and embedded services
The Site may link to or display services operated by Compass, Google, social networks, map providers, review platforms, listing platforms, and other third parties. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Policy. Review those policies before providing information to those services.
12. Changes to this Policy
I may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Site, business practices, service providers, or legal requirements. The “Last updated” date above shows when the Policy was most recently revised. Material changes will be communicated when required by law.
